We joined Patsy Moore's class onboard P&O Arcadia and were soon addicted to her daily sessions. Any misgivings we had about our abilities to draw and paint were soon overcome by her enthusiastic teaching style. Patsy covered, step by step, different aspects of sketching, colour mixing and watercolour techniques. We were always encouraged to try these out in our own style.
Patsy was very approachable; always positive about our attempts, however negative we were feeling. Our confidence grew and grew. The exhibition of all the work completed during the cruise was a great success. We all felt proud of our work, seeing it mounted and displayed. Watercolour painting has now become a favourite pastime.
